Booking Terms: Bed and Breakfast

Booking
All accommodation advertised on this web site is subject to availability and can be requested on-line or booked direct with The White House by calling 01424 722744.
Standard rates are per room and include either a full English or continental breakfast. All bookings are accepted on the understanding that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to making the booking.

Special offer rates may not be combined with any other offer or discount that The White House may be promoting.
Single supplements may apply to special offer rates. Special Offers do not apply to previous confirmed bookings.

We recommend that, to avoid disappointment, reservations be made prior to arrival.

Payment
You will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% at the time of booking in order to guarantee your reservation.
Your reservation confirmation will be e-mailed to you once your payment details have been confirmed and accepted.
Deposit payment and final balance payment can be made by credit or debit card.
Mastercard, Visa and American Express and all major credit cards are accepted.
The deposit or pre-payment is non refundable.

Cancellations, Amendments & Non Arrivals
All cancellations and amendments must be made via telephone on 01424 722744.
Cancellations will incur a cancellation charge based on the following: less than 24 hours notice but before 2.30pm loss of deposit. Non-arrivals will be charged one night’s rate in full.

Children
The White House is for adults only and we regret that we do not accept children under 18 years of age.

Pets
Well-trained and well-behaved dogs are welcome but are at all times the responsibility of the owner. The White House can provide (at extra cost) dog food if requested in advance of arrival.

Further Information
Rooms are normally available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12.00 midday on the day of departure.
There are occasions, particularly at busy periods when bedrooms may not be available until later than 4pm.
The White House cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to client’s property or person howsoever caused unless as a result of direct negligence by a member of The White House staff.
The White House has a small car park, which is free subject to availability. Guests are reminded that The White House cannot be held responsible for Guests cars when left in its car park.

The White House is a non-smoking hotel.

Self catering Terms and Conditions of booking

1)
All offers of accommodation are subject to availability and no accommodation can be confirmed until the appropriate deposit has been paid. Six working days will be allowed between verbal enquiry and receipt of deposit.

2)
On the day of arrival occupation can be expected by 4pm but this is not guaranteed. On the day of departure accommodation must be vacated by midday.

3)
The accommodation may only be occupied by the number of persons specified on the booking form.

4)
Duvet covers, pillow cases and fitted sheets are supplied free of charge. Towels and tea towels are provided but beach towels are not.

5)
Please notify us if you intend to arrive after 5pm.

6)
Clients are asked to leave their accommodation and its contents clean and tidy when vacating.

7)
All damages or breakages of the fittings, utensils, crockery, or cutlery must be reported to Reception and will be charged for.

General

All visitors to The White House should conduct themselves in an orderly and courteous manner. The Management of The White House reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any person(s) acting in a manner likely to be detrimental to the enjoyment of any other person. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person(s).

All persons must be quiet between 11pm and 7am.

The White House, its gardens and/or its facilities are available for your use and enjoyment at your own risk.

The White House will not accept any liability for loss and/or damage howsoever caused to equipment, personal possessions/property/vehicles or personal injury.

Privacy Policy

The White House respects your privacy and seeks to protect your personal data. The information you submit on our on-line enquiry form or by email will be held by us. The White House only collects information which is relevant to the service you are purchasing or enquiring about and the information is only used for administering our supply of the service, collecting payment and for keeping you informed of future special offers or events. The information held about you by The White House will not be disclosed to third parties.
